Peer (Dutch pronunciation: [peːr] ) is a city and municipality located in the province of Limburg, Flemish Region, Belgium. On January 1, 2006, Peer had a total population of 15,810. The total area is 86.95 km2 which gives a population density of 182 inhabitants per km2.
The municipality consists of the following sub-municipalities: Peer, Grote-Brogel, Kleine-Brogel, Wauberg, Erpekom and Wijchmaal.
Peer is the site of a famous annual blues music festival held in July.
